Student resources

All Rise’s student resource page offers a wide variety of valuable resources designed to enhance students’ academic, personal, and professional trajectories. Alumni and current students across the organization's program ecosystem are encouraged to utilize these essential resources whenever needed.

  • We are dedicated to connecting you with relevant scholarships to help remove the financial barriers to academic achievement. Our Program and Development Coordinator, Mahalia Banton, is also available to help review scholarship essays. Mahalia’s contact information can be found in the assistance area. • Internships offer college students invaluable hands-on experience in their field of study, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations. They also provide opportunities to develop essential skills, build professional networks, and gain insight into potential career paths. We recommend that students utilize the search engines below to explore internship opportunities nationwide. Additionally, from time to time, All-Rise may occasionally showcase specific internships offered by our community partners.

  • Many participants across our program ecosystem must complete an annual community service project. If you are unsure whether your program (BELIEF, Free Minds, and I Can Teach) requires this, please direct all questions to Mahalia Banton. Upon completion of the project, you must submit a scanned and signed PDF of the attached Annual Community Service Project Completion Form to the All Rise Program Portal. Failure to complete a community service project by May 31st of each year could adversely impact your direct cash assistance for the upcoming school year, resulting in a delay, pause, or forfeiture of your award.

For reference, the community service project must:

    • Be at least 90 minutes long

    • Completed with a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization

    • Completed within fall or spring semester

To upload your Annual Community Service form in the new All Rise Program Portal, please follow the steps below:

    • Visit My Awards > Click current Award Year > Service Requirement

    • Follow the instructions listed and submit your form

Note: Community service projects with for-profit organizations or government entities that are not nonprofits will not be permitted.
