our impact

We are a relationship-centered, data-supported organization, and the young men we serve remain at the forefront of our efforts.  They are outperforming the national graduation rate for Black men. We will never relent because our love sustains us, our voice elevates us, our persistence propels us, and our community anchors us.

the context

Young men of color are brilliant and have untapped skills that can profoundly improve the social and economic health of their communities. Yet they are least likely to earn their post-secondary credentials and represent just 5% of the teaching workforce. Their lack of representation in the field of education is of particular interest to We Will All Rise, as the presence of Black and Brown male educators in preK-12 classrooms has multi-generational impact.

the opportunity

We are relentless in our commitment to developing initiatives that ensure young men of color have the educational and economic means so that their families and communities thrive. Our approach is designed to marshal and nurture talent that has not been previously given the appropriate resources, pathways, and mentorship to own opportunity and realize potential.
